Sharon Springs Cheerleading Association

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of our dear friend and fellow SSCA Board Member, Suzie Bayer. Suzie had been battling pancreatic cancer since June of this year. She passed away peacefully Monday night with her loving family and friends by her side.

Suzie is survived by her husband, Jeff and her children Ryan (23), Derrick (12) and Katie (9).

Suzie and her family have been long time, valuable members of our Sharon Springs community. Derrick played football at the park for 3 years, Katie was a cheerleader for 4 years, and Suzie gave countless hours of her time and talents as she served on the SSCA board for 3 years. SSCA would love to give back to this family that has given so much and have set up a fund with the assistance of Sharon Springs Football to accept donations on the family's behalf. These funds will be used to offset the funeral and medical expenses, as well as provide the start of an educational fund for Derrick and Katie.
